Adding colour to people's lives

Following on from the on-pack work and new logo created by Design Bridge, I was appointed as Creative Director to lead a team to create a world for the Dulux brand, off-pack.

To date, the brand had very little brand expression and it certainly wasn’t consistent. So we started from scratch, retaining the assets that had equity. We created a new brand world for Dulux that could be used across every conceivable consumer touchpoint, and ensured that it could be consistently applied globally.

Working closely with Akzo Nobel’s global brand team, I was responsible for all creative aspects of the project that included close collaboration with BBH (advertising) and RAPP (digital). We also worked with Fontsmith to create the new Dulux consumer typeface (ColourSans).
